This is my Wix website for my English project on The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon . Here, you will find my entire work, complete with my script and a video of my interpretation.
I have decided to base my project on the fact that Christopher finds it extremely challenging to understand people's facial expressions and communicate with them. He is confused by the faces Siobhan draws for him because he cannot figure out what they mean. I chose this topic because I think it shows us very well how autistic people have trouble fitting in and understanding people. I have taken extracts from chapters 3, 23 and 29.
The interpretation is set in the police station when Christopher is arrested for assaulting the officer. He is alone in his cell and is reflecting on why people are so confusing.
